Highridge
Highridge is the cluster of townhome, condominium and apartment communities along Highridge Road, Peacock Ridge Road and Ravenspur Drive, with about 1,500 homes. Most date from 1973 to 1979. The largest are the Ridgegate and Mira Verde townhome communities, which B. R. Morris Development Company began selling in 1973 and 1974.

Living in Highridge
Smaller neighbors include The Hill on Hilltop Circle (1979), the Peacock Ridge condominiums (1974), the Stoneridge condominiums at Highridge and Peacock Ridge roads (1974), Via La Cima (1982) and a 28-unit building on Highridge Road finished in 2015–16. Two buildings, one on Peacock Ridge Road and the Royale Townhomes on Ravenspur Drive, began as rentals. They became condominiums after City Council votes in 1974.
At the north end, Ravenspur Drive mixes large apartment buildings with condominium buildings, mostly from the 1960s, among them Palos Verdes Villas. A 1975 photograph held by the Palos Verdes Library District shows the entrance to Ridgegate and Mira Verde at Highridge Road and Ridgegate Drive, with signs for Peacock Ridge behind it.
