Living in Mira Catalina
The Mira Catalina HOA has taken part in seven cycles of the city's neighborhood beautification grants, starting with the first, and groups named La Vista Verde and San Ramon appear on the same list. The city's Neighborhood Watch map divides the area into smaller groups such as Starline, Calle Adventura and Vista Verde, and the homes on San Ramon Drive form their own neighborhood parking-permit area.
Nearby, the 100-acre San Ramon Reserve of the Palos Verdes Nature Preserve surrounds the switchbacks of Palos Verdes Drive East. In San Ramon Canyon the city built a storm drain and roadway stabilization project, which it calls the largest capital improvement project in its history, and held the ribbon-cutting on October 15, 2014.
