We are an independent publication — not affiliated with the cities of Rancho Palos Verdes, Palos Verdes Estates, Rolling Hills, or Rolling Hills Estates, the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District, or any homeowners association. For official business, go to the officials; our Residents page lists them all.

Facts are checked against primary sources — city surveys, district pages, public records — and we say plainly when a figure is approximate or a boundary is simplified.
