The neighborhood

Living in Ladera Linda

The neighborhood shares its name with Ladera Linda Community Park at the north end of Forrestal Drive. For years the park offered paddle tennis and basketball courts, a playground and a Discovery Room on local geology and wildlife. Residents, local HOAs and the city spent several years on a master plan for a new community center and park, which grew out of a parks update begun in 2014. The rebuilt park opened on February 23, 2024.

Trails into the 155-acre Forrestal Reserve start beside the park. The Ladera Linda HOA has taken part in a dozen cycles of the city's neighborhood beautification grants.
