Living in The Terraces
The city's history lists a Terraces area among the places it annexed between 1960 and 1966, and its 1992 General Plan calls that annexation Highridge Terraces. The same plan named The Terraces, along with The Ranch and Cresta Verdes, among the planned residential developments of the city's southwest. It placed the homes on both sides of Highridge Road east of Indian Peak Road in its high-density residential category.
The Terraces HOA is on the city's 2021–2029 Housing Element list of homeowners associations. Across Highridge Road, Via Granada, Via Sevilla and Via Majorca form a separate planned development of about 56 homes built in 1968.
