Peninsula Center
Peninsula Center is Rolling Hills Estates' commercial district, in the small valley along Silver Spur Road and Deep Valley Drive between Crenshaw and Hawthorne boulevards. Its homes are condominiums built since 2008, among them La Collina, which sits above ground-floor shops on Deep Valley Drive.

Living in Peninsula Center
The city's 1992 General Plan described this commercial district as the Peninsula Center. In December 2005 the city began environmental review of a Peninsula Village overlay zone for the commercial core, meant to allow a mixed-use village with homes, offices and shops. Its General Plan 2040 lists La Collina as 58 market-rate condominiums over 5,800 square feet of commercial space, completed in 2020; county records date the homes to 2018.
