Living in Hidden Valley & Pleasant Hill
In April 2005 some neighbors asked the city's Park and Activities Commission to approve an entry sign on Palos Verdes Drive North. Others at the hearing said the large rock at the corner already marks the turn into Hidden Valley. With no homeowners association to care for a sign, the commission asked that the request come back once one formed and support was documented.
Saddlebow, Wildhorse, Lazy Creek and Colina lanes lie close by. The General Plan's neighborhood map gives this area no label of its own; Masongate is the only name it shows on this side of Palos Verdes Drive North.
