Alta Vista

Alta Vista is the subdivision on Alta Vista Drive, beside the Los Verdes Golf Course. Its map was recorded in 1977, most homes were built between about 1978 and 1989, and it was marketed around 1979–80 as Alta Vista of Palos Verdes. The Alta Vista HOA has taken part in the city's neighborhood beautification grants.

Los Verdes, Rancho Palos Verdes
Los Verdes is the hillside neighborhood around the county's Los Verdes Golf Course, west of Hawthorne Boulevard near Crest Road. Its core is Monte Verde, a subdivision of custom-home lots that Palos Verdes Properties, a partnership of the Rancho Palos Verdes Corporation and the Capital Company, previewed in October 1962. Most homes went up between the early 1960s and the mid-1970s.
