About

About Tract 6888

The Palos Verdes Project meant the plaza to be its largest business district, with a theater, a post office and a community building. Those plans never came to pass, but the plaza is still the neighborhood's hub for summer concerts and festivals. Avenida Mirola also figures in Frederick Law Olmsted Jr.'s unbuilt 1927 plan, which would have run a road from it down the southeast canyon to a bathing basin in the bay.
