About Marloma
A 1960s neighborhood sign named the area Marloma and listed its three streets. In 1957 the furnished model homes for neighboring Rollingwood Estates were shown at Marloma and Montemalaga drives. A Palos Verdes Library District collection of city records and early mayor Jack Hopkins's papers, now at the Palos Verdes Library District, include the results of a 1960s questionnaire on horse lots in the Marloma area.
