Tract 14118 is the oldest of the Portuguese Bend tracts, recorded on July 15, 1947. It covers Limetree Lane, Peppertree Road, Kumquat Lane, Cherry Hill Lane, East Pomegranate Road and Tangerine Road. The whole tract lies within the Greater Portuguese Bend Landslide Complex, and more than half of its lots are vacant.

Portuguese Bend, Rancho Palos Verdes
Portuguese Bend is the inland community of lanes such as Sweetbay, Cinnamon, Limetree and Peppertree on the slopes above Palos Verdes Drive South, near the middle of Rancho Palos Verdes' coast. Its three main tracts were recorded in 1947 and 1948, in the area where Frank Vanderlip built his first Peninsula home, the Old Ranch Cottage, in 1916.
