Oceanfront Estates is the planned community of large homes on the ocean bluffs off Palos Verdes Drive West, next to the Point Vicente Interpretive Center. Capital Pacific Holdings of Newport Beach developed it, announcing in February 2000 a plan for 79 homes in seven floor plans priced from $2 million to $4 million.

About Oceanfront Estates
Most homes went up between about 2000 and 2008. About 69 acres of habitat inside the project are part of the city's Vicente Bluffs Reserve.

Point Vicente, Rancho Palos Verdes
Point Vicente is the neighborhood along Palos Verdes Drive West, from the Palos Verdes Estates line toward the Point Vicente Interpretive Center. Its older streets, east of the drive, were built from about 1959 through 1970, and some were known then as West Palos Verdes Estates. Newer enclaves followed from the late 1980s, among them Oceanfront Estates on the ocean bluffs, begun in 1999.
