About Rolling Hills Riviera
The name was already in use in 1966, when Torrance Press-Herald real estate ads offered homes on Eldena, Redondela and Montereina drives as "Rolling Hills Riviera." The neighborhood lies wholly within Rancho Palos Verdes. Its western edge follows the Rolling Hills Estates city line, and it does not reach Lomita. The Rolling Hills Riviera HOA has received city beautification grants. The core blocks around Avenida Aprenda, Alaflora, Calzada and Montereina are a city permit-parking area, where residents park on the street by decal.
